📢 Multiply Workshop: Make a Teddy Bear! 🧸✂️
Our Multiply – Make a Teddy Bear workshop was a fantastic hands-on session where learners used their maths skills in a creative way! Led by Tracyann Little, learners took on the challenge of measuring, cutting, sewing, and stuffing their very own teddy bears.
🪡 What We Covered:
✅ Measuring and cutting fabric accurately 📏
✅ Confidently calculating and marking placements ✍️
✅ Sewing straight and curved lines with precision 🧵
✅ Weighing and stuffing the bear evenly ⚖️
✅ Hand stitching for a neat and secure finish
The group worked hard, and about half completed their teddies—just needing to add the final stuffing and finishing touches at home. Feedback was amazing, with learners feeling more confident using sewing machines and applying maths in a practical way!
