Our mission statement

Developing individuals and communities by providing accessible, high quality learning opportunities and skills training 

Bromley Adult Education College (BAEC) has a well deserved reputation for offering good quality part-time adult education courses taught by enthusiastic, experienced and well qualified tutors. We provide a friendly open environment in which adults can pursue their learning and training interests, for personal, employment and community enrichment.

From cookery to yoga, English and maths, languages to photography there is something of interest for everyone.

Some courses lead to a qualification, whilst others are designed to help you acquire new knowledge and develop new skills. In addition we offer a range of accredited courses to help you find work. These courses are free to eligible learners in receipt of certain benefits - full list available by emailing enquiries@baec.ac.uk .

We host a weekly Digital Drop In at the Kentwood Centre and Poverest Centre where you can get help accessing online forms, update your CV and get tips on job searching.

BAEC has two main centres in the Borough of Bromley. The Kentwood Centre in Penge and the Poverest Centre on the Orpington / Petts Wood borders. In addition we run courses at a variety of community venues across the Borough. Whichever centre you choose, you will find a friendly and welcoming place to learn.
