Art Exhibition at Kentwood
We’re thrilled to announce that our End-of-Year Art Exhibition is now open at the Kentwood Centre, running all this week from Monday 23rd to Friday 27th June. Located in Room 2, the exhibition is part of the SE20 Art Trail, and it’s already drawing lots of attention and praise.
From the moment the doors opened, we’ve welcomed a stream of visitors — learners, staff, and members of the public — all eager to see the incredible creativity on display. The exhibition features work from both mainstream and SEND art and crafts learners, showcasing their dedication, imagination, and progress over the past year.
We warmly invite everyone to visit the exhibition throughout the week. It’s a great opportunity to support our learners and appreciate the fantastic work they’ve produced. For more about the SE20 Art Trail, visit: www.se20artgroup.com/exhibitionsandevents.
This exhibition has been a true team effort, and we’d like to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who helped make it happen:
A huge thank you to all our tutors and learners who worked hard throughout the year to produce such impressive and varied work.
Special thanks to those learners who volunteered in the morning to help with setup.
A big shout-out to those working behind the scenes too! A lot of staff have gone above and beyond, and we’re grateful to everyone who helped make the show happen.
The exhibition brings together work from across our wide range of creative subjects, including:
- Art Appreciation
- Clothes/Dressmaking
- Drawing and Painting
- Etching/Printmaking
- Floristry and Flower Arranging
- Patchwork and Quilting
- Stained Glass
- Upholstery
It’s been heartwarming to hear the positive feedback from learners and visitors alike. This exhibition is not just a showcase — it’s a celebration of creativity, collaboration, and community spirit.
If you haven’t visited yet, do come by Room 2 at Kentwood before the week ends and enjoy the inspiring work on display.
Thank you again to everyone who contributed — what a fantastic way to end the term.
